Heidi grew up in a small town and attended college at Gustavus where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing in 2001. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on family medicine from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2010. Heidi is married to Andy and has 3 Children (and 3 dogs).

With over 15 years in the healthcare field, Heidi offers a vast array of experience and knowledge to her patients. Her first year as a Nurse Practitioner was spent in Gastroenterology but her true passion was Family Medicine. She worked for 8 years in a Family Practice and Urgent Care Setting prior to opening Mankato Med & Skin Clinic.
